Lara Fleischer is the Head of the Well-being Data Insights and Policy Practice Unit at the OECD Centre on Well-being, Inclusion, Sustainability and Equal Opportunity (WISE). She leads strategic initiatives to advance the global well-being and beyond GDP agenda, including work on social connections, social investment, and inclusive measurement practices. Lara has authored key OECD publications and toolkits on these topics, and regularly advises member governments on integrating well-being into policy design. For example, in one of her latest projects, she has been supporting the German Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth on the design of their youth loneliness mission. She holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Oxford.
