Mr. Stefano Guerra is a Counsellor at the Permanent Mission of Portugal to the UN in New York working on the Human Rights and Social Development portfolios, having served in the bureau of the Third Committee of the General Assembly, of the Commission for Social Development and of the Open-Ended Working Group on Ageing. He is the Chair of the 65^th session of the Commission for Social Development.

Mr. Guerra was actively involved in the negotiations of Decision 14/1 of the Open-Ended Working Group on Ageing in New York, supporting the process co-facilitated by the Permanent Representatives of Brazil and Portugal.
